About Holiday Inn Club Vacations

What is Holiday Inn Club Vacations?

Holiday Inn Club Vacations by Orange Lake Resort is a fast-growing family vacation ownership brand. It was created in 2008 from an alliance with IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group). As part of this alliance, we continue to add more resorts in desirable destinations. This brings more flexibility and choice for our members.

What is the difference between Holiday Inn Club Vacations and Holiday Inn Club?

Holiday Inn Club Vacations by Orange Lake Resort was created through a strategic alliance with IHG. Holiday Inn Club is its points-based vacation ownership member club. It is operated by Orange Lake Resorts and to date has over 100,000 memberships. Plus, Club members can use their Club Points for thousands IHG hotels and resorts around the world.

Who is Orange Lake Resorts?

We were founded in 1982 by Kemmons Wilson, who also founded Holiday Inn® hotels. We continue to be privately owned and operated by the Wilson family. Our 1,450-acre flagship resort is located in Orlando, FL, adjacent to Walt Disney World Resort®. It is among the largest single-site timeshare resorts of its type in the world with close to 2,500 villas and a wide variety of amenities and activities.

Today, we have over 200,000 owners and more than 3,500 villas across 12 resorts in top family destinations with Holiday Inn Club Vacations. Another is scheduled to be opened in Scottsdale, AZ in late 2015. And we continue to look for new properties to add to our resort family.
